Who we are
KOTT Lab is a development boutique by Roi Kott, Haifa (hereinafter: "we", "our"). You can contact us at ping@kottlab.co.il or via the contact page on our website.
What information we collect
- Details you provide actively: Name, email, phone, and project description when you fill out the contact form. There is no legal obligation to provide these details, and doing so depends on your choice and consent; however, without them, we will not be able to get back to you.
- Automatic information: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and duration of stay, through analytics services (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) and Cookies.
- Cookies: Used for basic functionality, analytics, and improving user experience. You can manage Shopify tracking preferences via the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of the site, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
How we use the information
- To respond to your inquiry.
- To manage the project, if we decide to move forward together.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To comply with legal requirements (issuing invoices, registration).
Third-party services
The site is hosted on the Shopify platform and uses additional services: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for traffic and usage analysis, Cloudflare for security and speed, and mailing services (when relevant). Each service operates according to its own privacy policy.
Sharing information
We do not sell or rent your information. Sharing occurs only:
- With service providers who assist us in operating the business (hosting, analytics).
- If the law requires us to (court order, regulation).
- To protect rights, property, or safety.
Data retention
We retain your information as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Customer service inquiries are kept for up to 7 years for business and accounting documentation purposes.
Your rights
In accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, you have the right to:
- Review the information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of information (subject to legal requirements).
- Withdraw consent for direct marketing.

Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted traffic (HTTPS), secure storage, and restricted access. However, no system is completely immune.
